The Bass Masters Tournament was June 26th with 13 boats in the contest. The competition was fierce, but Tommy Fusco and Lou Gramegna won with 812 pounds combined weight for their two largest bass.

YLPA holds three fishing contests each summer. Entry fees go toward cash prizes and the Fish Stocking program. The next tournaments are July 17th and August 28th.

Restocking of fish was completed in June and included bass large enough for catching this season. Fat Head minnows were stocked as feed for the larger fish, to replenish the food chain. Channel Catfish were stocked for lake cleaner-uppers, and they are also good eating.
