Accomplishments

1997: Acquired the Big Island.

1999: Purchased Yankee Lake in a tax sale.

2001: Purchased 45 acres of lake-front property which shall remain forever free from development.

2004: With the YLPA's acquisition of the remaining assets of the Yankee Lake Company, the final assimilation of all lake organizations was achieved.

Employed a year-round patrol team to ensure that our privately owned lake remains private—for the use/enjoyment of members only.

Launched an ongoing legal program to enforce membership in the YLPA for all those with deeded lake rights.

Implemented a continuing program to renovate our 150-year-old clubhouse with complete exterior re-painting, new bathrooms, a new kitchen, new windows, and new water system.
